「9月入学」に反対する理由

・9月入学は世界のスタンダードではない（韓国・オーストラリアなど）

・変更によって不便や混乱が起こる。入試、就活など。

以上をもとに英作文を書いてみました。

英作文例（2級：80-100語）

I do not think Japanese schools should start in September. There are two reasons why I think so.

First of all, not all countries start their school year in September. For instance, South Korea start in March and Australia start in February. Each country has its own rules. Therefore, Japan should be proud of having its own rules.

Secondly, the shift would cause a lot of inconvenience and confusion. For instance, the schedule of entrance examinations and job hunting have to change.

For these reasons, Japanese schools should not change the start of the school year from April to September. (100語）

対訳：日本の学校は9月入学にすべきではありません。理由は２つ。
まず、すべての国が9月はじまりなわけではない。例えば韓国は3月、オーストラリアは2月だ。各国にはそれぞれのルールがある。日本は日本のやり方を誇るべきだ。
2つめの理由は、変更によって不便や混乱が起こる。例えば、入試や就活スケジュールを替えなければならない。
以上により、日本ば学期の始まりを4月から9月に変更すべきではない。

Some people argue shifting the start of the school year to September can accelerate the Japan’s globalization. However, I believe it will only bring disturbance and confusion into our society.

First of all, not all countries start their school year in September. While major countries such as the US start their school year in September, others don’t. For instance, South Korea starts in March and Australia in February. Each country has its own rules. Therefore, Japan should be proud of having its own rules.

Secondly, the shift would cause a lot of inconvenience and confusion. Currently, entrance examinations are being held in winter, but it has to be shifted to spring. Official competitions and events for students have to be rescheduled as well as job hunting schedules.

Taking these reasons into consideration, we should not change the start of the school year to September.

まずすべての国が9月はじまりなわけでない。アメリカなどの大国は9月はじまりだが、他は違う。例えば韓国は3月、オーストラリアは2月だ。各国にはそれぞれのルールがある。日本は日本のやり方を誇るべきだ。
2つめの理由は、変更によって不便や混乱が起こる。現在、入試は冬に行われているが春にシフトしなければならない。公式戦などのスケジュールも変更しなければならない。就活スケジュールもだ。それらを考慮すると、日本の学期を9月に変更すべきではない。
