| I disagree with the idea that Japan should lower its age of adulthood to 18 due to their responsibility and the dangers of crimes.
First, lowering age of adulthood means that young people might have responsibility to pay the national pension. As most of them are still high-school students, it is difficult to do it from a small income they gained from a part time job. Eventually, their parents will pay the money on behalf of their children. Second, young people are always curious, also not skilled at controlling their greed. Being able to make serious decisions without parent’s consent might allow young people to sign an unfair contract or pour in money to illegal business practice such as romance scam. Adult age system surely protect them from such crimes. I cannot see the benefits of lowering adult age to 18. That is why I do not think Japan should lower its age of adulthood to 18. |

今期の国会で、成人年齢を18歳に下げるための民法改正案が審議されています。これが通れば18歳の高校生が大人として扱われ、ローンやクレジットカードを申し込むことができたり、親の同意なく結婚できるようになります。また、犯罪を犯すと大人と同じように裁かれることになります。
では、ぞろりんさんの書いてくれた英作文をパラグラフごとに見ていきましょう。
第1パラグラフ：Introduction

トピックに対して反対の立場です。
その理由は、責任感と犯罪の危険性。構成、文法などは問題ありません。
第2パラグラフ：Body1
| First, lowering the age of adulthood means that young people might have responsibility to pay the national pension. As most of them are still high-school students, it is difficult to do it from a small income they gained(gainの方が自然？） from a part time job. Eventually, their parents will have to pay the money on behalf of their children. |
Body1は最初の理由「責任感」について肉付けしていきます。
責任感の具体例として「年金」が出てきました。
18歳から年金の支払いが義務化されるのではないか？という懸念です。高校生は収入がほとんどないので、親が支払わなければならないのでは？とつなげられています。
理論の流れや書き方自体は悪くないと思います。しかし、responsibilityは「賛成」の理由として使う方がぴったりくるキーワードです。例えば、「大人として扱われることでより責任感がでる」のように。
例：they will be more responsible for their behvaior if they are treated as adults.
（大人として扱われると、彼らは自分の行動により責任を持つようになるだろう）
また、実際に18歳から年金の支払いが始まることはまずないと言われています。というのは、年金の支払いは「国民年金法」で20歳からと定められており、今回はその法律は改定する予定がないからです。ただ、年金の支払いを早めるための布石として今回の改正があるのかも？という疑惑は否定できません。
第3パラグラフ：Body2

2つめの理由である「犯罪の危険性」については、10代がいわゆる悪徳商法などのターゲットとして狙われるのではないか？という点を書いてくれました。
恋愛を装い、不当な契約を結ばせたりするデート商法（romance scam）は、成人年齢引き下げの懸念事項ですね。
第4パラグラフ：Conclusion
| I cannot see the benefits of lowering adult age to 18. That is why I do not think Japan should lower its age of adulthood to 18. |

反対の他の理由：成人式に出席しにくい
成人年齢引き下げに反対の他の理由はあるでしょうか？
メディアでよく取り上げられていたのは、「成人式に参加できないのでは？」という点。
日本では「20歳に振袖で成人式」というのがスタンダードになっています。もし18歳で成人式をするとなると、高校生は大学受験と重なります。1月はセンター試験や私学受験のシーズンなので、晴れ着で成人式どころではありません。以上のことを英語で表現すると、こんな感じでしょうか。
