今回は逆サイドの反対例です。

| I don’t think that more people will use public transportation rather than their private cars. There are two reasons why I don’t think so.
First, for local people, the super market, bank , hospital and other places are too far from their home. The buses and trains are very few. It takes time very much. If they use the taxi, the cost are very expensive. Then, they have to use their private car. Second, for family, when they go to family trip, if they use public transportation, they have to pay a lot of money for tickets . If they use their car they can carry a lot of their baggages . For these reasons, people will not use public transportation rather than their private car. |

理由１：田舎では自家用車が必要、
理由２：大家族は自家用車の方がお得
どちらの理由も説得力が強くて、読者を納得させられる内容になっています。しかし、改善点はまだいくつかあります。添削例はこちら↓

localは「田舎」ではなく、「地元・現地」
理由１は「local=田舎」という意味で書いてくださったと思うのですが、英語のlocalは「地元・現地」という意味で、田舎を指す単語ではありません。
都市部と比較するのであれば、in the country や、in a remote area が使えます。
そういった表現であらかじめ「田舎」と指定しておけば、local people＝現地の人々ということで意味が通じます。
ifを使わず「もし～なら」の表現の仕方
Cheeryさんの作文には if が3か所で使われています。この短いエッセイの中で3回は多めかなと思います。
「もし～だったら」と日本語で考えるとifを使いたくなるのは分かりますが、直訳っぽくなってしまうので、ifを使わずに書くパターンもあるといいですね。
ifを使わなくても、同じような意味のセンテンスは書けます。ifの部分を主語にすると書きやすいです。
理由１の「もしタクシーを使うと、お金がかかる」の部分はこんな感じで書けます。
If they use the taxi, the cost are very expensive.
↓
Using a taxi is very costly.
数えられる名詞・数えられない名詞に注意
「荷物」という意味のbaggageは数えられない名詞の代表的なもの。数えられないので、複数形になりません。
